The Two

Two Violins performs throughout the San Diego area at university receptions, corporate functions, weddings and other events. The ensemble, performing together since 1999, consists of violinists Justin and Magdalena O'Neill, both recent graduates of the Moores School of Music at the University of Houston, where they studied violin with Andrzej Grabiec.

Two Violins performs a varied repertoire, ranging from traditional classical music, such as pieces by Bach, Haydn and Mozart, to Spanish dance music and other ethnic pieces. Two Violins has recently added more world music to its repertoire. The library just keeps on growing.

News

*On Sunday, April 15, 2007 we played one of our favorite gigs ever. Our musician friend Scott Claassen held a CD release party at Musso & Frank Grill on Hollywood Blvd, and as part of his show he asked us to play a duet which he wrote. It turns out that this was the first live music performance in the legendary establishment's 88 year history! Scott - thank you for that opportunity to play at your party. We love you!

*We just completed our move to San Diego on May 23, 2006! We are proud to report that in the time we lived in Dallas (August 2004 - May 2006) we performed exactly 100 events! Many thanks to all who have shown us support during our stay in Dallas, especially to the wonderful folks who invited us to play for them so that we would end with a "Perfect Hundred." :)
